Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Jewish extremists desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque

Wafa– Extremist Jewish groups Wednesday desecrated al-Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites, in Jerusalem’s Old City by drinking wine and breaking the empty bottles on its ground to celebrate the Jewish Shavout holiday, according to Muslim Waqf officials.

Large groups of Jews entered the yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque through Magharbe Gate, near the Western Wall, under heavy Israeli police protection.

After walking through the yards, singing and dancing, they opened wine bottles and started drinking in spite of the sanctity of the place while police did not intervene to stop them.

Islam prohibits drinking wine or any kind of liquor and considers it a serious moral and religious offense.

Muslim worshipers at al-Aqsa Mosque compound, offended by this act, chanted religious slogans against the extremist Jews as police prevented any kind of contact between the two groups. Read more
