Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Israel delivered nine stop-work orders to residents building homes and agricultural infrastructure south of Hebron Monday, locals reported. Troops also detained the owner of one of the homes.

International observers in the area under the Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) said the orders were delivered to seven new houses, one cave, and one cistern in At-Tuwani. The stop-work orders often precede a demolition order, following which demolition can come at any time.

The observer group reported two violent incidents during the order deliveries, noting an Israeli officer striking a child chanting outside one of the homes, and another shoving a local to the ground.
