PA-mandated investigations over Goldstone fiasco to begin Thurs

On Sunday, Abbas ordered an investigation into why his own government delayed international action on a United Nations report calling for investigations on alleged Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip. The President is currently in Italy, and before that Yemen and Jordan. He was also scheduled to visit Syria, but was denied entry into the country because of his stance on the Goldstone issue.
