UN chief demands immediate release of Gaza flotilla detainees, investigation; retiurn of deceased and care for wounded also top priority

Ma'an - UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has appealed for the immediate release of those detained following Monday's Israeli raid of an aid flotilla bound for the Gaza Strip, reiterating his call for a prompt probe into the deadly incident.

The return of the deceased and care for the wounded are also a top priority, UN spokeswoman Marie Okabe told reporters in New York, according to the UN News Centre.........   Full story
