1 injured as Israel tanks shell central Gaza

Maan News Agency - A Palestinian man sustained wounds Sunday as Israeli tanks launched fresh attacks against targets in the central Gaza Strip, medics said.

Palestinian medics said a man was hit by shrapnel and wounded all over his body.

Witnesses said Israel's military fired three artillery shells at Juhor Ad-Dik, an area east of Al-Bureij refugee camp.

An Israeli military spokeswoman said she would look into the incident.
