Israel to demolish six homes in East Jerusalem for wall construction

IMEMC - The Israeli Authorities handed down orders to six Bedouin families, from Al Saray’a tribe, in occupied East Jerusalem, informing them the the Jerusalem Municipality intends to demolish their homes.

The new orders came following nine similar orders that were handed down to other Bedouin families living in the same area.

Human rights sources in Jerusalem said that Israel intends to demolish the homes and illegally grab 450 Dunams (111.19 Acres) that belong to the Abu Dis municipality, and that the grabbed lands will be used for the construction of the Annexation Wall.

In its handed orders, the Israeli Authorities claimed that the residents are “illegally living in the area”.
