Israeli army arrests 3 east of Bethlehem

Maan News Agency - Israeli soldiers arrested three Palestinians at a checkpoint in Beit Sahour east of Bethlehem, locals said.

Soldiers stopped a taxi that was on its way from Hebron to Ramallah and ordered all the passengers out, including two disabled people.

They searched the vehicle and detained the driver, Ahed Ibrahim Abu Sbeih, 33, from Hebron, and two other passengers.

An Israeli army spokeswoman did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
