Israeli forces detain Palestinian teenager, continue to surround West Bank town

Maan News Agency - Israeli forces detained a teenager in Beit Ummar on Sunday as the army's siege on the West Bank town continues, local officials said.

Popular committee spokesman Mohammad Ayad Awwad said Israeli troops had surrounded Beit Ummar for 13 days, since the army blocking all entrances to the town with barriers and cement blocks.

Soldiers detained Ahmad Ibrahim Ali IIkhlieyel, 16, and took him to an unknown location, Awwad added.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said Ali Ikhlieyel was detained "for security questioning."
