Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Israeli forces take 5 Palestinians, including 2 minors, in raid on Bethlehem

Ma'an – Israeli forces arrested four Palestinians from Deheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem overnight Thursday.

Soldiers entered the camp and searched the homes of Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Afandi, 17, Tareq Shahin, 18, Mahmoud Abu Hadeed, 17, and Hamza El-Saffi, age unknown.

An Israeli military statement said that overnight two were detained during raids. They were "wanted for terrorist activity" and were taken for questioning, the army said.

A fifth was said to have been detained overnight, local sources said, after Israeli forces entered Husan village west of Bethlehem.

Mohammad Zu’ul said four Israeli military jeeps entered the village at 2:30 a.m., broke into his home, ransacked its contents during a search, and took his son Baha to an unknown destination.
