Former Norwegian premier granted honorary Palestinian passport

Wafa– President Mahmoud Abbas Wednesday granted the former Prime Minister of Norway, Kare Willoch, the Palestinian passport in recognition of his efforts in the peace process and support to establish a Palestinian state.

Abbas received Willoch in his headquarter in Ramallah and praised the Norwegian support for the Palestinian Authority and efforts towards achieving a just and comprehensive peace.

He briefed Willoch on the latest updates in the stalled peace process, particularly after the Palestinian approval of the French peace initiative. Read more
