Thousands leave and enter Gaza through Rafah

Twenty-one buses carried passengers from Egypt across the Rafah border into the Gaza Strip on Monday, the Palestinian Interior Ministry in Gaza said.

Another 12 buses left Gaza for Egypt, said Ihab Al-Ghussein, a spokesman for the Hamas-controlled ministry.

Al-Ghussein said 1,046 passengers left Gaza, including 171 medical patients, while 1,729 passengers entered Gaza....
