The remarks were drafted in a resolution after the body finalized its 37th session, the government-backed Syrian Arab News Agency reported.
The OIC further called on countries not to supply Israel with any military assistance, or any economic, financial, technical or human assistance that might prolong the Israeli occupation of the Syrian Golan.
The resolution said Israel was compelled to return the Golan Heights to full Syrian sovereignty, and implement the provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 on the Syrian captives in Israeli occupation prisons, under inhuman conditions, "which led to deterioration in their psychological and health conditions, exposing their live to risks, in violation of every human and international norms," SANA wrote.
Conveners further condemned Israel for failing to abide by UN Security Council resolution No. 497 in 1981, and for its "continued alteration" of the judicial, demographic, and civilization feature of the occupied Syrian Golan, asserting that the continued Israeli occupation of the Golan threatens international peace and security.
"The OIC Ministerial Council asserts that the Israeli decision to impose its laws, jurisdiction, and administration on the occupied Syrian Golan is null and void and has no legitimate or judicial value, and constitutes a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and its related resolutions and of international law rules," the resolution read, according to SANA.....
