Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Azzun Atma villagers add site for weekly protest against wall

Ma'an
The Palestine People’s Party (PPP) organized a rally against the Israeli separation wall in the village of Azzun Atma, where the planned route of the wall will surround the village on four sides with a small access gate under Israeli control.

Two members of the PPP Central Committee, Nael Selmi and Sabri Arar, attended the rally, and spoke to the international press about the deleterious effects of the wall on life, economy and prosperity in the area.

Nael Selmi announced during the event that “these rallies will go on until international decisions that demand the dismantling of this wall are implemented.”

The rally at Azzun Atma marks the fourth site of regular popular resistance activites against the wall on Fridays, joining the ranks of the villages of Bil'in, Na'lin and Al-Ma'sara.
