After delay at Rafah, French neurologist arrives in Gaza

French neurologist Jack Pers entered Gaza on Thursday after having previously failed to enter due to holdups at the Rafah crossing.

Shortly after arriving, the doctor began carrying out checkups for registered patients at the Al-Wafa Hospital in Gaza City, as well as prescribing medication and scheduling surgeries.

The doctor is scheduled to remain in Gaza until the 14th of this month, during which time he will attend to several unique cases, including rehabilitation cases for otherwise untreatable disorders.
