Studies show that US coverage is Israeli-centric. The main bureaus for CNN, Associated Press, Time, etc. are located in Israel and often staffed by Israelis. The son of the NY Times bureau chief is in the Israeli army;"pundit" Jeffrey Goldberg served in the IDF; Wolf Blitzer worked for AIPAC. Because the U.S. gives Israel over $8 million/day - more than to any other nation - we feel it is essential that we be fully informed on this region. Below are news reports to augment mainstream coverage.

Israeli forces at Erez bar infant travelling with mother and sick toddler from leaving Strip

Ma'an
Israeli forces at the Erez crossing prevented 5-month-old infant from crossing into Israel with his mother and five-year-old sister, who was given permission to receive medical treatment in Israel.

The three arrived at Erez so five-year-old Maria could seek medical help in Israel after Gazan doctors were unable to diagnose what is behind the child’s chronic fevers. Maria’s mother took the five-year-old and her five-month old baby Tamim to Erez so she could continue to care for the child as his sister receives treatment.

Israeli forces at the crossing refused to allow the infant into Israel, and the mother and children were forced to turn back and may be unable to enter Israel for treatment at another time.
