Israeli soldiers seize Bethlehem health worker

Israeli forces seized a medical worker from his home in Duheishah Refugee Camp in the West Bank city of Bethlehem on Sunday morning, the Health Work Committees said.

The organization said that Isam Al-Hasant, an X-ray technician who works in a clinic in the nearby town of Beit Sahour was detained after Israeli soldiers surrounded his house. He is being held at an unknown location.

The Health Work Committees added that Al-Hasant is a father of two. In a statement the organization also noted that Israel continues to imprison the head of its finance department, Walid Abu Ras.
